These radio broadcast scripts sponsored by the American Wildlife Institute consist of a series of talks on wildlife conservation in America. The collection contains of 18 scripts of 16 different broadcasts, from November 1937 through May 1938. Sponsored by the Institute, they were broadcast from station WOL of the Mutual Broadcasting System, in Washington, D.C.

An accompanying register lists the date each script was received by the Alabama Geological Survey, as well as the title of the talk and the speaker. Actual broadcast dates are given where known. The collection was acquired in October 1984 from miscellaneous material located in Smith Hall (Museum of Natural History) at the University of Alabama and subsequently moved to the Library.
