Two deeds recording the conveyance of land in Montgomery County, Alabama, by Nimrod E. Benson to George Whitman, 19 February 1830 and 2 April 1832.
Scope and Contents note
Two deeds, one a handwritten statement dated 19 February 1830, the other a printed form that has been filled in, dated 2 April 1832 and also signed by Benson's wife, Catherine. Both deeds record the transferral of real property in the town of Montgomery from Benson's ownership to that of George Whitman.
