The letters are dated from September 5, 1954 to September 19, 1957. The letters are about friends’ and families’ sicknesses and deaths, marriages, and other issues of daily life.

Biographical/Historical note
Jennie Freely, formerly Jennie Richie, was born circa 1906. Her brother, Arthur Richie was born circa 1909. Isom Freely was born circa 1897.
