One postcard to Mamie in Des Moines, Iowa, is from a friend with an illegible signature in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and is dated August 19, 1879. The second is from Lou Snyder in Cambridge, Illinois, May 28, 1885. Both postcards ask Mamie to write the sender a letter.
