Scope and Contents note
This collection contains a scrapbook of newspaper and magazine clippings covering World War II. The newspapers clippings are from across the state of Alabama but most of the clippings are not identified as to date or newspaper. The identified newspapers include the Dothan Eagle, the Montgomery Advertiser, the Birmingham News, the Alabama Journal, and the New York Times. Most of the magazines that are identified are national magazines. They include Life, Newsweek, The Nation and My Weekly Reader.
