Scope and Contents note

Contains poems by KatieAnn (Detweiler) Troyer about her life and the lives of her family members, written between 1958 and 1968. Several poems are dedicated to relatives and concern them. There are 31 rhyming verse poems, photocopied and compiled by Troyer's family. Some entries are typed, though others are handwritten, with little consistency. Two are written in German.

Biographical/Historical note

The author of the poetry, KatieAnn (Detweiler) Troyer, and the family members responsible for this compilation, lived in Fredericksburg, Ohio. The poems themselves were written while Troyer was living in a log home, between 1958 and 1968.
