Scope and Contents note
This collection contains the correspondence of Harry G. Stevenson and Nellie Wilcox Stevenson, between each other and with other family members. Harry's mother and sister write to tell him about family and friends as well as their trip to the fair. They live on a farm in Syracuse, New York while Harry is working in Albany (Ilion), New York. Anti-Semitistic feelings are evident in Nellie's letters to Harry. Nellie starts all of her letters "I will now answer your welcome letter which I received a short time ago." She often talks of cold and rainy weather.
Biographical/Historical note
Harry and Nellie Stevenson are a laborer and a teacher living in upstate New York.
