In 1851 Nathaniel Cotton was a resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Scope and Contents note

The collection contains a letter from Nathaniel Cotton of Cambridge, Massachusetts, to his brother, Leonard Cotton of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, about the health of the family. As an engineer, he also comments on the construction of new roads and closes by wishing his brother a happy new year.
