The collection contains a letter from Helena Smith of Stacyville, Iowa, to her sister-in-law, Anna Ethel Smith of Austin, Minnesota, telling Anna that she can quit working on November 15th, and then do as planned when she last visited Helena. She also makes a very brief mention of the engagement of a couple in town.
