Biographical/Historical note
In 1941, Nan Wallace was a resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Scope and Contents note
The collection contains an invitation to Nan Wallace of Muskogee, Oklahoma, to attend a dinner and dance on December 29, 1941. The invitation is written in rhyme, is typed and has a poinsettia sticker at the top of the note. There is no date on the postmark to indicate if it was mailed before or after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
