Scope and Contents note
This collection contains a trip diary inscribed on the flyleaf to Mary Mildred Crowley of Indianapolis, Indiana and dated June 1, 1911. The diary (written in a different handwriting than the inscription) begins on July 1st and the last entry is Friday, July 24th (no years given - probably 1914). The diarist describes her activities at Lake Wawasee, Indiana, which include going out on the lake in a launch, going to the Inn and watching "Highbrows do fancy dancing," and shopping in Syracuse.
