Biographical/Historical note
In 1901, Emma was a resident of Madison, South Dakota.
Scope and Contents note
This collection contains a letter from Emma of Madison, South Dakota, to her sister, Rhoda, about Fred's hard work in the fields and lumber yard and that it is a busy time because the harvest is just over. She also tells Rhoda that everyone has been sick, but all are better now and they are able to entertain again.
