This collection consists of a scrapbook created by Daniel J. Swist, an alumnus of the University of Alabama. The scrapbook covers the years 1937-1943 and contains many annotated photographs of friends and colleagues of Daniel Swist.

Scope and Contents note
This collection consists of a photo album by Daniel Swist, a 1943 graduate of the University of Alabama. The photographs include himself, his friends, colleagues, family, and possibly a romantic interest. The album shows Swist's undergraduate education and enlistment in the air corps. Many of the photographs are dated and annotated. Also included are several articles about Billie Pittard, a young woman.
