Scope and Contents note
The collection contains a letter from Gertie Williams of Barcelona, Venezuela, to Ruth and Denny Collins of Hooven, Ohio, about gifts for her daughter's (Linda) graduation. Gertie explains that although she has gotten the coin bracelet, she has not been able to get the $2.50 gold coin she had seen in a book when visiting with the Collins. She asks Ruth to order it for her and to keep it there until Gertie comes up for Linda's graduation.
