Scope and Contents note
The collection contains a letter from Mike Whitners to his grandmother while on a cruise through the Mediterranean. He tells her that he has missed several ports of call, because he has been sick with a cold. At the time the letter was written, they were in Sicily. The letter is written on USS Yosemite stationary with a drawing of Italy is in the bottom corner.
