Scope and Contents note
The collection contains a letter from C. C. D. to her fiance. In the letter, she tells him of her visit with her grandparents and asks him to "turn" a new potato masher for her grandmother to replace the one that "Grandpa whittled out for her when she went to house-keeping." She also tells about the beautiful spring weather, planting corn and playing croquet "for my health."
