The collection contains a brief note from Ella Luther written to her grandfather requesting that he come see his son, Daniel Miller, in town before before he (Daniel Miller) leaves town the following day.
[The letter mentions a telephone call, so in the absence of a firm date on the letter, the date is expressed as "After 1890" which is when the familiar candlestick phone became available. MAB 2011-1-7]
