Scope and Contents note
The collection contains a letter written on 8 April 1912 by S. H. Riggs of Weston, West Virginia, to Oscar Johnson of Waverly, West Virginia, about a dog Johnson has for sale. Riggs says that the price of the dog is too high and that Johnson sold him two other dogs for less. He does say that he would prefer to buy Johnson's dog as it is a sibling to the other two, but that he would go elsewhere for a dog if necessary.
