Scope and Contents note

The collection contains a letter from John Marshall, written on 14 July 1818, to Ann Willis about money sent to pay the tuition for Marshall's children. Marshall also expresses his regret over the closing of the school and that she can count on him to help her with any troubles arising out of the collection of tuition fees due her.
