Biographical/Historical note
"The Way to Wealth," which is present in this fragment, was written by Benjamin Franklin and first appeared in Poor Richard's Almanac in 1758.
Scope and Contents note
This collection contains fourteen pages from a New England almanac for 1803. Present are a reprint of the 1758 essay, "The Way to Wealth," by Benjamin Franklin, as well as recipes, poetry, road lengths, monthly lunar calendars with weather forecast, and dates for the supreme courts in the New England states. Marginalia stating "G. Wilbur (?) was born 6th of April 180(torn page corner)."
