Scope and Contents note
The collection contains a letter written by Rose Rousch while visiting in Butler County, Ohio, to her friend, Katie. In the letter, Rose described her feelings when she discovered that several old friends had married and others were about to wed. She also described the peace she felt when visiting her father's grave, as well as the memories it evoked. Rose ended the letter with various remembrances to Katie's family and friends and her desire that Katie should written a lengthy answer immediately.
