Scope and Contents note

This collection contains a letter fragment from R. H. C. concerning her loneliness and having no one to "do for" anymore. She also explained that Adele (presumably a young relative - possibly her granddaughter) was staying for the time being with a young woman named Emma, also possibly a family member.
