Biographical/Historical note
Walter J. Fraser, Jr., was a professor and chair of the history department at the University of Southern Georgia. He received his A.B. from the University of Virginia, his M.A. from East Carolina University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee. As of 2009, he was professor emeritus of the University of Southern Georgia history department.
