This collection contains a letter from Louis Beck of Los Angeles, California, to William Pontius in Wyoming, congratulating him on his promotion to Corporal. In the letter is a pencil rubbing of a golden shield-shaped pin belonging to Beck. He discusses his activities in the Air Corps, wanting to see William, and the recent purchase of an air pistol.
