Scope and Contents note

This collection contains a letter from Louis Beck of Los Angeles, California, to William Pontius in Wyoming, congratulating him on his promotion to Corporal. In the letter is a pencil rubbing of a golden shield-shaped pin belonging to Beck. He discusses his activities in the Air Corps, wanting to see William, and the recent purchase of an air pistol. He also writes about the possibly of getting published.
