Biographical/Historical note
William Reynolds (2/10/1838 - ? ) was the son of Hannah and Samuel Reynolds and had eight siblings. He lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, and was a student at Northwestern Christian University (later Butler University).
Scope and Contents note
Contains a journal written by William Reynolds from 1855 to 1858. He began the journal while at Northwestern Christian University. Reynolds recorded original essays, family updates, and famous quotes, poems, and songs. A significant portion of the journal details a boat trip he took with his friend Ben to New Orleans from March 15 to April 29, 1858.
