Scope and Contents note
The collection contains an American Civil War era gunpowder pouch, found in Kentucky. Both sides of the pouch are embossed with a hunting scene, a circle enclosing a tree and a large dog. The copper English-style charger bears the manufacturer's mark, AM FLASK and CAP CO. The spring loader still opens and closes easily but the leather of the pouch is deteriorating and is in two pieces.
