Biographical/Historical note
Doris and Cliff Buechel lived in Louisville, Kentucky. They were married in the mid-1930s, and their son Cliff Jr. was born in 1938.
Scope and Contents note
Contains nine letters written to and from Doris (nee Lutz) and Cliff Buechel during the 1930s. Six letters were written from Cliff to Doris while he was away in Chicago, Illinois, and North Webster, Indiana, for academics and leisure. Two were from their friend Mrs. J. O. (Boots) Davis congratulating them on Doris's pregnancy and the birth of Cliff Jr. One was a thank-you card from the family of the recently deceased Henry Graves.
