Scope and Contents note
The collection contains a letter written by Herschel Tiffany, of Kansas City, Missouri, on 29 August 1925, to his wife in Paducah, Kentucky. The letters is written on the back of a blank statement for Tiffany Garage, Don and Herschel Tiffany, owners. Tiffany tells her about the business and about various friends.
Biographical/Historical note
Herschel Tiffany was born in 1900 in Missouri, the second child of Orson and Mattie Tiffany. In 1925, he owned, with his younger brother, Donald, an automobile garage, specializing in storage, repairing, towing and accessories.
