Biographical/Historical note

Lazell, Perkins, and Company was located in Massachusetts and produced iron for locomotives and sugar mill shafts. Lazell, Perkins, and Company was later renamed the Bridgewater Ironworks.

This collection is a letter written by R. Jenniss to Lazell, Perkins, and Company. R. Jenniss wrote to Lazell, Perkins, and Company to inform them that he has money available in a bank in Boston, Massachusetts, to settle the balance of his account with them. The letter mentions that the Lazell, Perkins, and Company mills have not been operating due to lack of rain.
