Biographical/Historical note
Jessie Grant Bridgman was born in Massachusetts, probably in 1865, and was the daughter of Chester and Sarah H. Bridgman, according to the 1870 United States Federal Census.
Scope and Contents note
This collection contains one letter and three photographs. The letter is written from Jessie Grant Bridgman, of Woodstown, New Jersey, to Mrs. Emmett Cacle, of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Bridgman and Cacle are distant cousins. Bridgman writes condolences for the recent loss of Cacle's father and mentions recent visits with relatives. One photograph is of "the yard with the (old) barn." One photograph is of the new barn. One photograph is of an inn.
