Scope and Contents note

The collection contains two sheets (26" x 20") of black and white prints produced by the Union Furniture Company in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, depicting eight historical homes and buildings in Tuscaloosa and Northport, Alabama. The pictures, along with four others not in this collection, were used to illustrate a 1993 calendar for the Union Furniture Company.

The first sheet is "The Greensboro Avenue Collection" and includes the Train Station (1911), the Battle-Friedman Home (1836, the Searcy Home (1904) and the Jemison Home (1861). The second sheet, "The Main Avenue, Northport Collection," includes the Shirley-Christian-Harper Home (1840), the Maxwell Home (1903), the First Methodist Church (1913) and the Maxwell-Hamner Home (1885).
